BJFC presents Bright Birthday Project ~2020~

Hello, it’s December 27th today, which is Bright’s birthday!

We, at BJFC, feel it went by so quickly since the time our crowdfunding page, BJFC presents Bright Birthday Project ~2020~, was launched at CAMPFIRE.

Thanks to the generous donation from many Brights in Japan, we were able to send our Message Book to Bright, his mom and P’Kik. Thank you so much for your help.

Let us show you some contents from the Message Book.

Our theme of the book, “Please look up to the sky when you are down, let Brights Around The World show you a rainbow” was expressed throughout the book including binding and formatting with extra emphasis on “a rainbow.”

We made the cover of the book in monochromatic tone with a blue sky to make the rainbow inside pop, while staying within our design principle of being “chic and stylish.”

We are looking forward to seeing the number on the cover growing larger as we continue supporting Bright!

These “Image Interludes” were created as a break in between heartfelt messages to show some beautiful 4 seasons in Japan to differentiate us from other countries.

We have noticed that Bright has liked many photos taken in Japan on social media platforms and wanted to show him more interesting sceneries from our beautiful country. We collected photos from our admins in the hopes to make him want to come see us more 555+

Personally, it was hard for me to submit photos since I have not been taking many scenery photos to show different seasons, but now I take a look at these photos collected from our admins for Bright, photography must be fun. I may take more photos due to getting inspired by Bright!

Let's move on from the contents to the outside and talk about how we wrapped the gifted books.

We used a tracing paper as a wrapping paper for the books to be socially conscious by not selecting plastic wrapping.

We liked how it is see-through to show the cover design after being wrapped.

Then we used a ribbon with rainbow colors to cross wrap over it.

We wanted to imply that we are connecting the hearts of Brights and Bright by using our theme of “a rainbow” to “cross tie.”

Here you see 3 books for Bright, his mom and P’Kik all wrapped beautifully and ready to ship. They were shipped on December 6th, 2020 from Japan.

All birthday wishes we received for the Message Book were so full of love and gratitude towards Bright, we were touched so many times while editing this book. Thanks to all the participants of this project, we were able to create a beautiful rainbow with the 7 colors of birthday hearts in the messages spanning the book.

We really appreciate all the Brights who participated from the bottom of our hearts!! Great love and feelings from Brights in Japan are sure reach to him♡

And to Bright, let us tell you Happy Birthday again and again! Your work definitely made us smile and feel happy. We are inspired by the fact that you are always doing your best, the value you hold and the way of thinking that you act upon. Moreover, the fact that you are always being who you are every time we see you makes us want to love and take care of you more, while we also take care of our loved ones such as our family members.

We are SO grateful for Bright for being the color that shines brilliantly and BRIGHTen up our daily lives! And we'll always send our heartfelt love to you♡
